Deja vu all over again: Another bishop blames the Jews
What is it with the Catholic Church lately? An Italian bishop has now been quoted as saying that the Vatican's latest sex abuse scandal is the Jews' fault.Who is to blame for the sexual abuse affairs in the Catholic Church? The Jews, at least according to an Italian bishop, which suggested that Jews were behind the current criticism of the Church's record on tackling clerical sex abuse, British newspaper The Guardian reported Sunday.I guess the more things change, the more they stay the same.
An Italian website quoted Giacomo Babini, 81, the emeritus bishop of Grosseto, as saying he believed a "Zionist attack" was behind the criticism, considering how "powerful and refined" the criticism is.
Babini was quoted by Catholic website Pontifex as saying: "They do not want the Church, they are its natural enemies. Deep down, historically speaking, the Jews are God killers."
The Bishops' Conference on Sunday rushed to issue a statement quoting Babini denying he had ever given the interview in the first place. "Statements I have never made about our Jewish brothers have been attributed to me," he said.

The Catholic church is responsible for Antisemitism. Period. We never stop paying either.
The fire set by the Catholic Church set a spark throughout all Christianity.
and no, I am not saying all Christians hate Jews.
I will say however when that horrible movie Passion of the Christ portrayed Jews in such a horrible manner it was merely mimicking what the Church has done forever. I was heartsick there was little if any outrage.
...but then, I expect nothing now so it taught me a good lesson. Silence should teach us all a good lesson even if it takes a while for it to sink in.
They can all go straight to Hell. Jews will prevail despite all the bad intentions for all these thousands of years which in essence mocks the very religions of those who wish to obliterate us. Despite it all my dear friends,we survive!

I'm a Christian but i don't agree that the Jewish people were responsible for Christ his death.If you look closely you will see that Jesus received a Roman punishment not a Jewish punishment (They could have stoned him to death).
The Church in all her "wisdom" made The Jews responsible but that's not the truth.
There are lots of actions by the Church in the course of History that i don't agree or approve of.
The church has indeed been the cause of lots of evil ,being led by men.
