I'd feel more sympathy for the Brits if they had more sympathy to us. But it looks like they're in the same position we are with the Obama administration - except that they're not as easy to push around.

None of America's allies are exactly feeling the love.
Today is not a good time to be a friend of America.
Dear Carl, I am a Brit and I have to say the Gov are just getting a taste of their own medicine.
They should pull our troops out of Afghanistan and tell the Argies to go in their place, and while their about it, send that Abu Fluff's bunch too!
The Brit Gov has historically been treacherous:you only have to look at Partition in India, Phillistine Mandate, Nigeria etc to see what a mess they left all these places.
I am personally disgusted with UK Jewish politicians such as Malcolm Rifkind and Gerald Kaufman who pour out bile against Israel in the arab/murdoch press.
I don't see how we are going to go to war for the Falklands with most of our armed forces in Afghanistan.
More treachery for the Falkland Islanders I fear.

Argentina doesn't have an army. what is worse, most of the argentinean land was sold to foreigners (specially the patagoina), so...
another thing: Carl, Argentina was never a true ally of united states, instead Argentina is one of the most anti united steates (don't like to say americans to north american people, cause i live in america too,) country in all latin america.
