US Intel: Iran's ballistic missiles capable of carrying a nuclear payload

Well, isn't this just a fine piece of news....
U.S. Director of National Intelligence Dennis Blair told Congress on Tuesday that Iran has the largest inventory of ballistic missiles in the Middle East and that it continues to improve and increase the amount of its ballistic missile forces.

Blair also said that many of Iran’s missiles are capable of carrying a nuclear payload.
What could go wrong?

You can be sure that this is why the vile, abhorrent B Hussein O and his anti-Israel cronies kept postponing any action against Iran. They probably withheld intel from Israel.
This makes the prospects for Feb. 11 look a lot more frightening.

Ashan, correct Obama and his "anti-Israel cronies" are indeed postponing action on Iran. However, to get at the heart of why we must allow ourselves to de-politicize this question. As long as we look at this horror in a political way the longer it will keep us from attacking antisemitism head on.

Iran has been getting the bomb for a long time now. Yes, on the watch of Obama, the genie is emerging from the bottle but that bottle has been opening slowly and steadily for a very long time. So much for shunning a tyrannical regime and so much for inane dialog in the name of diplomacy. Ashan, both roads have led to the same end result.

Indeed 10 years ago, 6 years ago, 4 years ago Iran was further from producing a bomb but the powers that be at those times knew full well the direction Iran was going.

If we look clearly and carefully we will see no President or head of state did anything to stop Iran.
They and we can provide thousands of reasons what they did and what they did not do and why but in the end here we are and what in the hell are we going to do now.

I liken this time to pre-Shoah when all the signs were clearly written and clearly ignored.

nomatter, you're right. iran has been developing the nuke for years, and no U.S president has done anything.
and i will tell you the why (i think).

which is the country in the world with major dollars reserves?
i'll give you a hint: it starts with C and ends with A (and is not colombia).
yes! you guess it right, it's CHINA.

which is the first supplier of oil of CHINA?

yep, you guess it again, it's IRAN.

so... you can see the delicated position of U.S.A, right?

i think the real problem of the states is not IRAN but CHINA. what will CHINA do if USA attacks iran and the exports of oil stops?
what will happen if CHINA change it's reserves from U.S.A dollars to, i don't know maybe euros?

and that's exactly why the states are keeping Israel restrained about attacking IRAN.
everybody knows that if Israel attacks iran, we should expect an attack from hamas, hizbollah, lebanon and perhaps siria to Isral.
but, i think iran would attack the States interests in the middle east, leaving no choice to U.S.A to enter the fight, and...
yep: how would china respond?

sorry if i made some grammar mistakes... english is not my mother tongue (it's spanish) and i'm a little rusty cause don't practice like i should :P

hope you get my point!!

p.d. the states should start keeping an eye on south america, it's getting bad here...

MUSHI, I understand quite clearly. Everything you wrote makes perfect sense.

And when we get right down to the bottom of it all, the price of a dead Jew is nothing. The price on the head of every Jew means far far less than black gold.

Period.

Make no mistake not a hundred nukes pointed at Israel will change it.

You're right nomatter, and if my memory doesn't betray me ( from the books i've read), when Israel was founded and the arabs started the war, wasn't U.S.A who made an armament sale blockade to israel?

didn't Israel get his weapons from FRANCE and RUSSIA?

unfortunately we (the jewsish people) have been alone in the world for millenia, and don't think that's going to change.

i like the last phrase told in the movie "Escape from L.A":

the more the thing changes, the more they stay the same!
