Chazan was employed as a columnist at the Post, the country's largest circulation English-language daily. On Thursday, Chazan received an e-mail from Jerusalem Post editor-in-chief David Horovitz, informing her the newspaper would cease publishing her column. One of the 'few' other than Larry Derfner, Anshel Pfeffer and Ray Hanania, among others. How many Right wing columnists does Haaretz have? One: Moshe Arens.
Chazan had provided the daily with one of its few leftist voices in recent years. Horovitz declined to respond to questions from Haaretz on Thursday night.
David Horovitz's weekend column doesn't mention Chazan. He has too much class for that.
