JPost fires New Israel Fund President
Haaretz reports that the Jerusalem Post has fired Naomi Chazan, the President of the controversial New Israel Fund. Chazan was employed as a columnist at the Post, the country's largest circulation English-language daily. On Thursday, Chazan received an e-mail from Jerusalem Post editor-in-chief David Horovitz, informing her the newspaper would cease publishing her column.One of the 'few' other than Larry Derfner, Anshel Pfeffer and Ray Hanania, among others. How many Right wing columnists does Haaretz have? One: Moshe Arens.
Chazan had provided the daily with one of its few leftist voices in recent years. Horovitz declined to respond to questions from Haaretz on Thursday night.
David Horovitz's weekend column doesn't mention Chazan. He has too much class for that.

Naomi Chazen? For my own good I'll remain silent...
I've never seen something like this happen in Israel: the Far Left being held accountable. The country could use more of it.
