IAF jets come under anti-aircraft fire over Lebanon?

Lebanon is claiming this evening that its troops opened fire with anti-aircraft missiles at four IAF jets flying over southern Lebanon and the Bekaa Valley. Lebanon claims that it forced the planes out of its airspace. The IAF has apparently not commented.

The IAF frequently flies reconnaissance missions over Lebanon to monitor Hezbullah's rearmament. The rearmament violates UN Security Council Resolution 1701, which ended the 2006 Second Lebanon War.

Hmmm.

Sure they did. There's nothing they can do to prevent Israel from monitoring Hezbollah's build-up.

Get used to it!
