And you wonder why the Right in Israel cannot get fair coverage in Israel's mainstream media....Controversial television reporter, Illana Dayan, who was recently found guilty of character defamation of an IDF officer, was awarded a prize in 2008 by the New Israel Fund.I don't watch TV, so I cannot tell you which channel she is on, but if it's Channel 1, she's a government employee.
Dayan decided to donate the prize money to the group Itach – Lawyers for Social Justice. The group was involved in providing material for the Goldstone report.
