The un-Obama
Andrew Sullivan refers to former President George W. Bush as the 'un-Cheney' for these comments about President Obama.GREGORY: In some circles, the President’s been criticized for politicizing this disaster. Do you think that’s fair?It would have been more appropriate to refer to Bush as the un-Obama. No President in American history has ever been as divisive as Obama has been, and no President in American history has ever blamed his predecessor for all his woes as incessantly as Obama has. Bush has been the definition of class (as shown by the quote above) and has never attacked Obama. Obama should learn from Bush's example.
BUSH: I don’t know what they’re talking about. I’ve been briefed by the President about the response. And as I said in my opening comment, I appreciate the President’s quick response to this disaster.
Somehow that seems to have escaped Mr. Sullivan's attention.
