Who's the liar?

Prime Minister Netanyahu denied on Wednesday that he had agreed to the 'settlement freeze' because the Obama administration wore him down.
The Prime Minister's Office has denied reports that he said that the decision to freeze Jewish construction in Yesha came after the Americans wore him down.

The Prime Minister's Office stated that "the claims made by the YNET website have no basis and were never said by him. They are lies, plain and simple."
I hope and believe that Bibi is lying about this. He doesn't want to get into hot water with Obama as happened when he allegedly called Rahm Emanuel a kapo. If the 'settlement freeze' was his own initiative, he has no place being Prime Minister. That's not to say that Bibi should not have displayed a little more backbone in resisting the 'freeze.'

It was all about Iran. I think Netanyahu and Obama reached understandings at that meeting in the White House a couple of weeks ago and one of them included allowing the President to save face in exchange for giving Israel freedom of action on Iran. For that, Israel had to pay a price. If it wasn't about Iran, a freeze would never have happened. We'll know more for sure in the future.

I strongly believe that Netanyahu was actually threatened (not badgered) by Dear Leader Hussein into declaring the freeze. Thug-in-Chief Obama and his henchmen support the Palithugs exclusively. Only Trotskyite or Maoist "Jews" are tolerated.

The WH will continue to insult the Jews with phony "celebrations" like the non-Seder or the upcoming non-Hanukah.

There's a different take presented by Sultan Knish this morning called the Caliph's Game. Basically, Knish argues the reason tha the freeze has just turned into a political disaster for Netanyahu is that it has touched segments of Israeli society not normally the object of a freeze and it has gained Israeli neither US goodwill nor a slacking off of Europe's assault upon Israel's sovereignty over Jerusalem. The point of the Caliph's Game is the Caliph is only as powerful as you allow to him be and in effect Israel is negotiating with the US and Europe on behalf of the Palestinians. That must stop if Israel is to survive.

There's more. Read it all.

the ballerina is a kapo. But perhaps it wasn't a case of caving but a Machiavellian case of quid pro quo for backing an Israeli mission against Iran

while this may have happened, it makes no sense. Bibis poll numbers were rising and Husseins were dropping. It is near the New Year, mid-term elections are coming and Hussein couldn't put pressure on Bibi.
