Democrats in Israel gathered in Tel Aviv on Monday to discuss President Obama's relationship with Israel. They are in denial about the reality of Obama's unpopularity.Let's go to the videotape.
But it's not just that Obama is unpopular in Israel. Have a look at this graph, which shows the level of Obama's support among American Jews (Hat Tip: Judith W via Twitter). The last time American Jewish support for a Democratic President was as low as 52% was probably during the Carter administration.

Overall, the American olim are far more observant on average than American Jews, and yet there were very few kipot in that room. Any coincidence?
