North Korea fired two short-range missiles off its east coast on Monday night.

No further details are available.

UPDATE 3:52 PM

North Korea has fired three more missiles off its east coast.

In response, Secretary of State Clinton says that the 'international community' 'won't accept' North Korea's nuclear program.

Let us not be rash, after all BHO is NOW a Nobel Peace Prize winner! I am sure he will chant some south side chicago chant that will instantly heal the black heart of the North Koreans..

Even as we speak, BHO is sitting in the Oval Office, feet on the desk, assured by his lackeys that he now can walk on water....

I'd be interested in knowing HOW short range, and also if the tests were considered "failures" because the missiles blew up somewhere high up in the atmosphere instead of hitting their "targets." Why? Because the use of Electromagnetic Pulse (EMP) weapons is the ultimate in assymetrical warfare - a 4th world country like North Korea (or Iran) can literally end the civilization of a world-striding superpower with one or a few nukes detonated 200 or so miles above a nation (like, for instance, over Kansas, or one for each coast and one launched from the Gulf of Mexico from anonymous freighters.

NK and Iran may well be evil nations (I believe their leaders to qualify without any further proof than what we've got already), but they aren't stupid. They have no interest in fighting us where we are the strongest (in a conventional war, against our Navy and Air Force, on, over or near their territory), but where we are weakest, here at home. We'd be instantly transported back to 1850, with few of the tools and less knowledge as to how to grow the food necessary to survive.

I wish that our so-called "leaders" would take these tyrants and their preparations seriously. But, alas, they are probably more concerned about having their hair exactly in place for a photo-op than about any potential threat to our nation. Hashem help us, because we're not doing it for ourselves.

The Obama Administration says it won't accept North Korean missile tests? Well its accepted North Korea as a nuclear power. And the US is going to do what exactly about it?

Iran is no doubt taking note and must be pleased with Washington's empty threats.

Obviously NK should be part of the,"don't ask, don't tell" paradigm.

Obviously NK should just "don't ask, don't tell."
