Breast cancer conference boycott reversed
Remember how the Susan G. Komen Foundation was going to hold a conference on breast cancer research in Egypt and doctors from Israel were
going to be banned?
The ban is off.
Susan G. Komen for the Cure Pleased to Announce Egyptian Events to Welcome All Advocates, Including those from Israel.
Statement from Nancy Goodman Brinker, Founder, Susan G. Komen for the Cure
Breast cancer advocates from the United States and across the Middle East are meeting in Egypt from October 21-27 for breast cancer awareness events. There have been reports that some of the invited participants would not be allowed to attend these events. Susan G. Komen for the Cure has now received confirmation that all advocates, regardless of their country of origin, are invited to fully participate in events to bring breast cancer to the forefront of public discussion in the Middle East.
That's certainly good news.

I'll bet Susan B Komen foundation was warned about a possible drop in donations and destroyed reputation if the ban went through.
I think warnings to boycott it worked and Egyptians also realized at the last moment it would give them a black eye in the Western press. This is one off one time only. Egypt hasn't changed its hostile position towards Israel.
It is not true. Komen put it on their site, but there is no confirmation in the media. Until there is, it is not true. Komen will say anything to keep Jewish money flowing.
I hope someone is keeping an eye on this conference and report if the Israeli doctors did or did not attend.
Susan G. Koman for the Cure LIED.
According the the Israeli Foreign Ministry, Isralie physicians were banned from the conference.
No Israeli physicians attended the conference.
I plan to post more on this soon.
ps. please post a follow up post about this, so your readers know the truth.
