The Obama Doctrine: Undermine allies, embolden enemies, diminish our country

This video by Frank Gaffney of the Center for Security Policy was actually made the week before the UN disaster. It boils the Obama Doctrine down to nine words: Undermine allies, embolden enemies, diminish our country (the United States).

Those nine words define the Obama Doctrine with respect to American security policy. All three elements were much in evidence in the President's benighted decision last week to cancel the "Third Site" for intercontinental-range missile defenses in Eastern Europe. They will be on display as well during this week's several conclaves with foreign leaders.

He mentions Israel about two thirds of the way through the tape. It's not pretty.

Let's go to the videotape.

Obumbler has failed on many fronts but has to date one notable accomplishment: to make America and its allies feel less secure in a dangerous world.

What could go wrong indeed

carl,

i hope you had an ez and succesful fast and yom kipur

however, i shut off gafney after the first 30 seconds when he blatantly lied about what is going to be done in regards to the anti missile systems

and obama made his decision based on his top military advisors

instead, missile defense for short range missiles...the kind that iran does have, will be place in those countries

if gafney wants a new cold war...let him fight it...but he wont get obama's help

gut yor

Carl: Barry Rubin just came out with a very good post explaining the implications of the Obama Doctrine in detail.

This is the gist of the post:

Yet he's not playing a game of bridge here but dueling with a dictatorship that thinks it has divine support and wants to build a massive totalitarian empire. The fact that Obama thinks this way makes him a person not fit to deal with real enemies.

There's lots more.

Read it all
