Obama will never like Israel, but....
While I agree with Batya at Shilo Musings that President Obama will never like Israel, I'm afraid that this is a bit over the top. Most American Jews can't comprehend the ingrained anti-Jewish feeling in the Black community. The phenomena of "projection" protects most from the paranoia which should exist. Yes, there's a rational reason American Jews should fear the Blacks, and that includes U.S. President Barack Hussein Obama and his wife, Michelle.Sorry, but that's an argument for Jews never voting for a black candidate and therefore it's over-inclusive.
Israel should fear them even more. Just listen to what Obama has been saying, claiming that Israel's "occupation" of the aka "Palestinians" is like the Holocaust. What total and utter and far-removed from reality nonsense has come from the mouth of the American President!
While anti-Semitism is more prevalent in the black community than it is in many other elements of American society, not all blacks are anti-Semites. The problem with Barck Obama isn't that he's black (technically he's not - the term they used when I was a kid for someone like Obama is mulatto, which may not be politically correct anymore). The problem is that his outlook on life was heavily influenced by people who tout a revolution-based anti-Jewish narrative (such as Jeremiah Wright, Rashid Khalidi and Bill Ayers - only one of whom is black).
I agree that Obama has ingrained anti-Jewish feelings that are underestimated by most American Jews, and I agree that he poses a great danger to Israel. But that has nothing to do with him being black.

I think you're both right. You even seem to get it right and then shy away from it.
Obama was a regular visiting member of Wright's "church". Wright is a black supremest. So is Obama.
There's the "black liberation theology" camp and the Chrstian camp that includes many many black members. They are very different.
The former is now in power in the U.S. I suspect that Obama and his wife are more anti-Zionist than the arabists in the State Department. It is very important that Israel consider this in all dealings with the U.S.
It is time for Israel to become truly independent.
Obama was born and raised Muslim (before supposedly converting to Christianity), then spent most of his adult life listening to the antisemitic rants of his lunatic Pastor, Wright.
Is it a big wonder that he turned out to be an antisemite?
