A majority of Palestinians are opposed to sharing Jerusalem with the Jews and to ending the conflict with Israel.
Don't look for the "peace process" to be resumed any time soon.
Hopenchange, any one?
Carl - if you wonder why the French wanted to get rid of Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman, the most important thing he has said today is this:
"However, he said, "taking responsibility does not mean always making concessions." Past Israeli concessions in negotiations with the Palestinian Authority have not had positive results, Lieberman observed, "even though we are always loved when we make concessions."
He announced the end of unilateral Israeli concessions, a stand that will not endear him to the EU and the Obama Administration.
There's much more here.
Read it all
Its about time someone said that in Israel and hopefully it will scotch all the talk of Israel adopting a one sided "settlement freeze."
