San Francisco's 'Jewish film festival' becomes an Israel-bashing fest
The San Francisco 'Jewish film festival,' sponsored by the local Jewish federation, has allowed itself to be taken over by Israel bashers according to community activists who have emailed me. The 'festival' is co-presenting a film call Rachel, whose topic is, you guessed it, St. Pancake herself, Rachel Corrie.But if possible, it gets even worse. The presentation is being co-sponsored by two virulently anti-Israel groups: The 'Jewish Voice for Peace' and the 'American Friends Service Committee.'
On January 10, 2009 JVP (a co-presenter of the Jewish Festival "Rachel" event) participated in an anti-Israel hate protest in SF.
On September 25, 2008 the AFSC, (also a co-presenter of the Jewish Festival "Rachel" event), hosted Iranian President Ahmadinejad at a celebratory dinner in NY.St. Pancake's moonbat mother is due to speak at one of the screenings.
Cindy Corrie has been relentless in her smear and de-legitimization campaign against Israel and in her promotion of the pro-Hamas, anti-Israel, International Solidarity Movement (ISM). For the 'Jewish federation' to be sponsoring something like this is beyond absurd. But it shows the unfortunate state of relations between Israel and the American Left today.

How many more examples do we need to conclusively say that Liberal American Jews have gone from assimilation to active enemies of Israel and Jews in general?
