Hamas' new Gilad Shalit cartoon

On Monday, Hamas' al-Aqsa Television introduced a propaganda cartoon about kidnapped IDF corporal Gilad Shalit.
Hamas launched a propaganda cartoon of Gilad Shalit on Monday, playing it repeatedly on its Al Aksa television station, as well as on internet forums. In the film an unshaven Shalit is calling for his mother when visited in his cell by a Gaza boy who tells him that Israel does not care about him.

During the three-minute film, additional Hamas messages include how it would be betrayal by the boy to free Shalit, especially with many of the boy's relatives in Israeli jails. Israel is portrayed as being only a collection of people from Western countries, and Shalit's only hope is for Hamas to kidnap another soldier to make Israel agree to Hamas's terms and discourage Israelis from joining the army.
Of course, you won't hear anyone pointing out why this sadistic cartoon violates the Geneva Convention. Is Hamas trying to tell us about their future plans? Or are they just trying to torture Shalit and his family some more? Either way, Israel should have put an end to this sorry story a long time ago. Hamas has no intention of releasing Shalit, no matter how much ransom the Israeli government pays.

But let's give them a state reichlet and then next year maybe they'll release Shalit.

It is against the Geneva Conventions of War to use POWs in propaganda or other events. One cannot humiliate or mistreat them either.

But we are talking about animals disguised as humans, not true humans. So the world will give them a pass.

Israel is afraid to rescue Shalit. Yoni, if he was alive today, would not put up with the excuse-making and the evasion of responsibility for fellow Jews. Israel has a duty to bring captive soldiers home by attempting a rescue and if they are killed, at least they will die knowing their country did all it could for them.

Sorry, but Israel hasn't even tried it.

It is inconceivable that Israeli intel do not know where shalit is. We know when and where the terrorists leaders go to the John and can pick them off almost at will, when we want to.

It is obvious that a dead Shalit is preferable to a live prisoner.
