Arad shuns meeting with Erekat

Prime Minister Netanyahu's national security adviser Uzi Arad refused to meet on Wednesday with 'Palestinian' chief negotiator bottle washer Saeb Erekat (pictured), due to Erekat's meeting with Iranian foreign minister Manouchehr Mottaki in Sharm el-Sheikh last Thursday. Erekat had requested the meeting to discuss allowing Fatah members from Gaza to be present at the organization's convention in Bethlehem on August 4.
The Prime Minister's Office stressed that the requested meeting was not for the purpose of political discussions, adding that Arad's snub of Erekat did not necessarily mean that the two would not meet on the Fatah conference issue sometime in the future.

Radio Kol Chai had quoted Erekat earlier Wednesday as saying that the Prime Minister's Office had recently turned down several requests for meetings.

"The Israeli prime minister doesn't want to meet us," he was quoted as saying. "Over the last few days, they have said that we would meet, but have then canceled."
Hey Saeb - your boss Abu is refusing to meet with us unless we agree in advance to choke off all Jewish life in Judea and Samaria. So why the heck should we meet with you?

Heh.

Erekat wants favors from Israel but his boss says "no" to negotiations with Israel. F*ck him!

Yeah, every now and then an off color expression says exactly what needs to be said about the PA's complete hypocrisy. Israel is not obligated to reward the PA's rejectionism with unilateral concessions.
