The ultimate flying pigs moment?

This may be the ultimate flying pigs moment, so let's get the pig out of its sty.

Sitting in the Neve Daniel home of Shaul Goldstein on Sunday, America's worst ex-President said that he did not envision the Etzion bloc becoming 'Palestinian territory.'
"This particular settlement area is not one I envisage ever being abandoned or changed over into Palestinian territory," Carter said in Goldstein's Neve Daniel home.

In the past, the former US president has spoken out against Jewish settlements in the West Bank, calling them illegal and an obstacle to peace.
Huh?

Maybe because Goldstein is religious, as are most of the residents of the Etzion bloc?

I'm too shocked to comment further.

UPDATE 7:23 PM

Here's a report from Arutz Sheva on Carter's visit. Let's go to the videotape.

Let's see what he says once he's out of Israel.

The Palestinians must be beside themselves on hearing that from Dhimmi Carter.

Are they going to revoke their award to him now?

Heh

I have a theory on this. Jimmy Carter was seen several weeks ago quietly leaving the white house. Although he has a reputation as a loose cannon by democratic and republican presidents alike, it may be he is actually a direct agent of Obama. I'd sure they are in close communication. If Obama feels he miscalculated in his initial approach with Israel, it may be Carter who is "counseling" him. So, this 'could' signal a change of strategy or flexibility, essentially leading for Obama to endorse the 2000 Barak plan where the settlement blocs close to the '67 borders remain intact, in "exchange" for pre-'67 land in Israel. A sort of modified green line deal. So this could signal a shift of tactics.

The other explanation is that Israeli scientists are testing a new anti-anti-semitic drug sent by poison dart. Carter was hit by the poison dart a few days ago and immediately wanted lox and bagels and is on a love tour of the settlements.
