US to fully fund Arrow 3
Here's some good news for a change.The US has decided to fully fund the development costs of the Arrow 3 as part of the 2010 defense budget. The Arrow 3 is Israel's next generation ballistic defense missile. The funding costs for 2010 are over $100 million.
Last month, Israel conducted a test of an Arrow 2 missile - its 17th. The Arrow 2 shot down a simulated Iranian Shihab missile.

Israel should move its own missile project. A complete reliance on the US is inadvisable, for many good reasons.
