Obama seeks to divide Jerusalem
On Thursday night, Binyamin Netanyahu vowed that Jerusalem would never again be divided. On Sunday, the Obama administration responded."Jerusalem is a final status issue. Israel and the Palestinians have agreed to resolve its status during negotiations. We will support their efforts to reach agreements on all final status issues," a State Department spokesman said when asked to respond to Netanyahu's proclamation that Jerusalem would always remain under Israeli sovereignty.Bob Wexler and Gary Ackerman - Obama's court Jews - had no comment.
On Sunday, Prime Minister Netanyahu vowed to continue building in Jerusalem.
Netanyahu said he stressed in Washington that Jerusalem was not included in various understandings regarding settlement construction that were reached over the years between the US and Israel.Eighteen months to mid-term elections.
"Jerusalem is the capital of Israel, under Israeli sovereignty, and we do not accept limits on construction or on our activity inside Israel," he said.
And you thought the UN 'Human Rights Council' was obsessed with Israel.

Hi Carl,
Do you think Netanyahu will change his view under pressure from Obama?
Thanks

It seems everyone wants Israel to give up Jerusalem.
The other point to be made is the ban on building new revanants makes no sense. And how does kicking Jews out of their homes advance peace? Demolishing all the outposts to please the US and evicting every last Jew from them won't bring peace closer.
Prime Minister Netanyahu would have gotten more respect if he had pledged we do intend to build new revanants on the grounds that Jews have a right to live wherever they wish in the Land Of Israel and its not the government's job to keep them out of it because the world doesn't like the sight of them living there.
Telling the Obama Administration Yesha can be kept Judenrein as a goodwill gesture to the Palestinians is sickening and indefensible.
won't make it 18 months
