Will the next 9/11 come from Mexico?

Thoughts from a Wandering Cowboy reports on Iran's 'deepening relations' with Mexico and asks whether there is any connection between those relations and Hezbullah's operations in Mexico.
The three discussed regional (Central and South American) issues, the IAEA and Iran, the current global economic meltdown, and Mexico's role as an interim member of the U.N. Security Council.

The statement goes on to say that depening "Amistad" or friendship between Iran and Mexico is, in fact deepening.

Meanwhile, the Washington Times is reporting that Iran-backed Hezbolla is operating on the border smuggling people and drugs into the United States, citing the DEA as a source.

Is this simply a coinkydink?
No, it's probably not a coincidence. But those relations have likely been there for some time and are just coming out into the open now. Hezbullah, after all, is an Iranian surrogate. I reported as far back as April 2006 that Hezbullah was smuggling operatives across the Mexican border with the United States. I warned about the same thing again in July 2007.

The picture at the top of this post came from a Brookline, Mass. trolley stop in June 2007 - I don't believe that sign is there anymore. My instincts tell me it's long past time to plug all the holes in the Mexican border. What do your instincts say?

They should be plugged but they won't be and David Horowitz has warned that of 100% certainty there will be another 9/11 type attack in the United States at some point in the future. There are plenty of possible Hamas/Hezbollah/Al Qaeda "sleeper agents" awaiting possible activation and no one knows how many are here or where they are. The fact a terrorist attack of that scale hasn't happened for the last couple of years has bred a great deal of complacency and indifference both among American officialdom and citizens alike.

Yet that is very likely to reoccur again all too soon.
