Facebook's jihad against a 14-year old

Jihad Watch reports that Facebook has suspended the account of a 14-year old boy who tried to sign up 1,000,000 pro-Israel members of the 'social network' (Hat Tip: Memeorandum).
The David Horowitz Freedom Center is calling upon all supporters of freedom of speech and of Israel to join in its protest against Facebook, the Internet social networking site. Facebook has allowed a group of hackers who openly support the terrorist group Hizballah to take over and destroy what was once the largest pro-Israel site on Facebook. In a blunt act of internet censorship, Facebook added insult to injury by disabling the account of that site’s creator, 14-year-old Todd Snider.

Snider established the Facebook group called “I Wonder How Quickly I Can Find 1,000,000 People Who Support Israel,” in July 2008. By February 2009 it was Facebook’s largest pro-Israel site, with over 180,000 members.

But on February 15, 2009, Snider’s Facebook group was hacked and destroyed by a pro-Hizballah group calling itself “Lebanese Shee’a Hackers.” The hackers completely erased the original site content and replaced it with threatening, obscenity-laced pro-jihad, anti-Israel propaganda datelined Bint Jbeil, South Lebanon: “DEAR ADMINS, DON’T WASTE MY AND YOUR TIME , LEAVE THIS GROUP ITS BETTER FOR BOTH THIS IS THE LAST TIME ILL EDIT YOU INFO , NEXT TIME…”

Facebook allowed the hackers to destroy Snider’s site, answering his repeated entreaties for help with blandly evasive form letters.

And now, after the appearance on March 6 of an article about the incident in FrontPageMagazine.com (“Facebook Jihad” by Robert Spencer), Facebook has taken the additional step of disabling Snider’s account altogether, capitulating to the jihadi hackers and accusing Snider himself of “misusing” Facebook’s “features.”
Read the whole thing.

This is not the first time that Facebook has inserted itself into our region's politics. You may recall that last year it temporarily moved all of Judea and Samaria's Jews to 'Palestine.' Personally, I spend as little time as possible on Facebook. Maybe it's time to create a less politically correct (and less personally invasive) alternative.

Facebook is run by leftists. Its perhaps better for conservative activists to create their own social networking alternative.

The anti Israel movement is making inroads in the Universities,Unions and extremist left wing elements of governments, and public org. around the world.
The war against Israel has taken roots in an international Campaign of Misinformation where traditional weapons have failed in the destruction of the state of Israel.
This current war against Israel has everything to do with Jew hate and little to do with any genuine consideration for Palestinian civilians.
You would be hard pressed to find Jews lining up in support of Israel, the way anti Israel supporters protested Israel, if the IDF used Jewish civilians as shields against Hamas while simultaneously provoking Hamas with rockets.

The anti Israel movement will go to any lengths to promote their lies against the only genuine democracy in the Middle East.

Here is an eg. where a well known anti Israel org.Mona Baker sent out a communique askng hermembers to go to an Al Jazeera poll supporting Israels right to self defence,by asking tjeir members to promote a lie by voting "NO"!

Facebook was created by a Jew from Harvard, Mark Zuckerberg.

They are probably coming down hard in this case in order to avoid accusations of bias, without realizing the implications.

Or maybe they are just lefties as Norman says... I just don't know anymore.
