Outrageous: 'I am not a killer'

This is part of an interview with Abdullah Barghouti, who is currently serving 67 consecutive life terms in an Israeli prison for making the bombs for some of Israel's most notorious terror attacks. Barghouti is one of the terrorists that Hamas wants freed in exchange for kidnapped IDF corporal Gilad Shalit.

One would hope that if he were ever freed, the IDF helicopters would immediately come and get him, but that's probably wishful thinking.

Let's go to the videotape.

By the way, the reference to the guitar case is a reference to the Sbarro suicide bombing here in Jerusalem - which I have discussed here several times - in which the suicide bomber walked into the restaurant with the bomb in a guitar case.

It's outrageous that scum like this may go free.

He definitely is a killer. We need a death penalty for terrorists.

How about this?

If Gilad is not returned alive in 24 hours?

We kill and dump the corpse of Barghouti into the med?

Roza,

There is one but only for Nazis and traitors. The only person ever executed by Israel was Eichman - and I doubt the Supreme Court would allow that to happen again.

Here's Frimet Roth on the meaning of that guitar case.
