Video: How the kids in Sderot live

This is why the IDF is now pounding the daylights out of the 'Palestinians' in Gaza.

Would you accept your children living like this? Or would you expect your government to protect them?

Hat Tip: NY Nana

Let's go to the videotape.

Carl,

It is still painful to watch. Thanks for the hat tip, but I wish with all my heart that video never had to be made.

It is very hard to imagine what it is like for the children and families who live in Sderot, but especially the children. And now more communities are involved.

We can only pray that there will be an end to this, and that the war will take back the Gaza strip, and expel the enemies...not likely with the current Israeli government, I know, but still, we can hope.

Barack Hussein Obama is still an unknown quantity, and frankly, he scares me.

The Israeli government has not been protecting the people of Southern Israel for a long time. The next several days will show if it will move to address the Hamas threat once and for all or if it is more concerned with placating a world hostile to Israel's right of self defense by short-circuiting the war before it has achieved its aims.

Painful is not the word. Yet the world would allow this to happen over and over again just because they are Jews.

That is the true painful reality.

That video is very well done, our {Israeli] government could take a lesson from it.

Anyone who wishes to know more about the terror our people are subjected to on a minute to minute basis,,,can listen to "Radio Darom" on the internet. The "Red Alerts" (Tzeva Adom") are frequent and heartbreaking.

Have a brave new year.

The Israelis are the victims of a deeply incompetent governing class which doesn't believe in the muscular Zionism of the Founders. They must go.

That said, Israel will never be at peace as long as she occupies Arab land. Ben Gurion warned you about this, but the Labour Governments of the Early Seventies, flush with victory after 1967, failed to heed his warnings and tried to live among the Arabs. This will come to grief as Arabs living in Israel are becoming increasingly radicalized.

You must leave the Palestinians to their own catastrophe, and their own civil war. It is the only way, but you must also be ready to annihilate them when you must. The present leaders, half-steppers who give Neville Chamberlain and Eduard Deladier a good name, are simply not the people to do that.

Israel has to put out the brush fires every couple of years. As long as the Middle East is what it is - with Arabs unreconciled to the presence of the Jewish State in the heart of the region - the wars will go on. It is not for lack of effort on Israel's part that there is no peace there now.

Michael,

You can now hear the alerts on Israel Radio's Reshet Bet as well.

Section 9,

Withdrawing from what you call 'Arab lands' (a historical inaccuracy, but not necessary to prove it for this argument) would just encourage the 'Palestinians' and their Arab patrons to believe that they can throw the Jews into the sea. Not a great idea, is it?
