Muslims have drawn up "hit list" of British Jews
London's Daily Sun reports that Muslim 'fanatics' have drawn up a "hit list" of British Jews to be targeted in response to the current Israeli operation in Gaza. TV’s The Apprentice boss Sir Alan Sugar and Amy Winehouse record producer Mark Ronson are among prominent names discussed on a fanatics’ website.Just yesterday, Canadian Mark Steyn warned (Hat Tip: Hot Air):

British anti-terror expert Glen Jenvey is convinced online forum Ummah is being used to prepare a deadly backlash against UK Jews.

On the Ummah site, “Saladin1970” asks for help compiling “a list of those who support Israel”.
“Abuislam” asks: “Have we got a list of top Jews we can target? Can someone post names and addresses?”
Saladin1970 gives a link to the Power 100 list of top British Jews.
Mr Jenvey, 43, said: “The Ummah website has been used by extremists.
“Those listed should treat it very seriously. Expect a hate campaign and intimidation by 20 or 30 thugs.”

The Community Security Trust, which advises Britain’s Jewish community on safety, said: “We are advising prominent Jewish individuals to be conscious of potential threats.”
There is a crude arithmetic logic about European antipathy to the Zionist Entity: For your average finger-in-the-windy politician, there is simply no electoral upside in being pro-Israel, and quite a lot of potential downside. If you think Europe is soft on Israel's "right to exist" now, just wait another ten years.In England, they've gotten a head start on the next decade.
Or maybe they're trying to convince British Jewry to emigrate en masse to Israel so that they can try to exterminate us all in one fell swoop.
Exit question: Why does the Sun refer to them as 'fanatics'? Jew-hatred seems to be mainstream in Islam.

Carl, Jew hatred IS mainstream in Islam. And Jews should be getting out of Europe and moving to Israel while they still have time. Unlike in the 1930s, when they couldn't get out because Israel didn't then exist, leading millions of them to be slaughtered during the Second World War, Europe's Jews have no excuse today. And as Europe's native populations continue a steep decline, Europe's antipathy, towards Jews, always under the surface will grow stronger. Despite all its problems, the only country able to provide Jews with a secure future is Israel and every Jew who moves there strengthens it and helps to deter her enemies. That should be the Jewish (and Zionist) answer to the problems that Jews face now in Europe.
Shy Guy, what's funny is many of the Jews on the list want nothing to do with Israel. It doesn't change the point I made but if Jews think distancing themselves from Israel will buy them safety from Muslim terrorists, they could not be more mistaken. Leftist or Haredi, shunning Israel will not eliminate anti-Semitism. And there was only one reason the Holtzmans were targeted in Mumbai. It had nothing to do with Zionism and everything to do with Judaism. When Israel's enemies say they're only against Zionists but love the Jews, you already know that's the Lie Of The Ages.
The other subject that should be brought up is Mark Steyn's point about the relationship between the West's extreme deference to Islam and its unwillingness to defend its liberal and democratic values. As he notes, its now forbidden in Canada to discuss the issue of what even the UN calls the "fastest population transformation in history," but its considered perfectly normal for the police to protect Muslims' rights to express Nazi and genocidal sentiments in the heart of downtown Toronto. In short, the West's multicultural societies are in the position of simultaneously censoring those who point out Muslim intolerance while protecting Muslims right to undermine the liberal democratic bedrock of tolerance and diversity upon which those societies rest. The West's human rights machinery has been effectively hijacked and pressed into the service of an illiberal agenda. And like Steyn says, if you think things are bad now, wait ten years.
Small though my readership may be I have no fear of expressing my opinions on my blog and I doubt many average English people do either....any islamonazis in Britain are welcome to take offence...I will never fear to speak my mind in my own country.
