IDF spokesperson's office has a blog

Just like the rest of us, the IDF spokesperson's office now has a blog. (Hat Tip: Hot Air).

I guess someone in Israel finally realized that they should improve their horrible PR skills.

It is not so much PR as it is a dry information portal.

I wonder whether the contributors are allowed to freely write up propaganda pieces and link to other articles and media from non-IDF origins.

The PR job should have been done by the Foreign Ministry but they're too busy appeasing the French and the Vatican.

In normal, healthy countries, the press and the media show their patriotism at times of war. Here, what have the JPost, Ha'Aretz, Yediot and Ma'ariv done for us lately.

And forget about Israeli radio and TV stations doing the right thing.

Shy Guy,

Simple: Israel isn't a normal country.

Its a good idea. Better later than never. And does Israel really need the hostile MSM to explain its position? Its about time they discovered the New Media!

Wait...I thought we already controlled the media?!

Joe, if the Jews control the world, why is every one so upset with them?

Was just my attempt at sarcasm...we certainly do not control the media.

And if we do, we are doing a piss poor job of it.

You know that genocide we are committing against the Palestinians? Considering that their population has more than quintupled, we are also failing at that.

It's about time! I've got it bookmarked and will post a welcome to the blogasphere on Monkey in the Middle.

It's good to know someone in Israel is finally thinking.
