The 'Palestinians' rewrite history (again)

This is an interview with Dr. Ahmad Subh, Deputy Minister in the 'Palestinian Authority Ministry of Foreign Affairs,' which was broadcast on 'Palestinian' television (official television of the 'Palestinian Authority,' which allegedly favors the 'two-state solution') on November 29, 2008. In the interview, Dr. Subh claims that the Arabs were never offered a state in 1947. Let's go to the videotape, and then I'll prove to you that he's lying.

The full text of United Nations General Assembly resolution 181, which passed on November 29, 1947 (sometimes known as the partition resolution) may be found here. Here's enough of it to prove that Dr. Subh is a liar.
Part I. - Future Constitution and Government of Palestine
A. TERMINATION OF MANDATE, PARTITION AND INDEPENDENCE

The Mandate for Palestine shall terminate as soon as possible but in any case not later than 1 August 1948.

The armed forces of the mandatory Power shall be progressively withdrawn from Palestine, the withdrawal to be completed as soon as possible but in any case not later than 1 August 1948.

The mandatory Power shall advise the Commission, as far in advance as possible, of its intention to terminate the mandate and to evacuate each area. The mandatory Power shall use its best endeavours to ensure that an area situated in the territory of the Jewish State, including a seaport and hinterland adequate to provide facilities for a substantial immigration, shall be evacuated at the earliest possible date and in any event not later than 1 February 1948.

Independent Arab and Jewish States and the Special International Regime for the City of Jerusalem, set forth in Part III of this Plan, shall come into existence in Palestine two months after the evacuation of the armed forces of the mandatory Power has been completed but in any case not later than 1 October 1948. The boundaries of the Arab State, the Jewish State, and the City of Jerusalem shall be as described in Parts II and III below.

The period between the adoption by the General Assembly of its recommendation on the question of Palestine and the establishment of the independence of the Arab and Jewish States shall be a transitional period.
Anyone think Dr. Subh is not lying? I didn't think so.

The truth is Carl - the Palestinians could have had a state in 1948 but they rejected it. They reject one today for one simple reason: they do not want to co-exist alongside a Jewish State. That's the elementary truth that gets lost on the Israeli and Western elites who endlessly try to get the Palestinians to bite the "statehood" apple but they never do.

Not to worry! JPost editor Horowitz spoke to US general Dayton and assures us that everything will be alright.

1. according to several Arab authorities, there are no socalled 'Palestinians'
2. the Arabs rejected a state in 1948, started a war and lost.
3. they lost every single war they started since then.
Which other nation on this earth ever gave back territories after a war they've won? Russia? China? England? France? North Corea? No, they didn't. Why should Israel?
4. If all they want for generations is war, and live solely for the purpose of dying in combat with infidels, simply give them what they want.

I have to whole-hearted agree with Orde. They won their territories in war, why should they give it back? in the name of peace? Please. If "Palestine" disarms, there is peace, if Israel does, they get obliterated.

As for a nation called "Palestine?"...
