Hamas commanders 'eliminated'

A Hamas spokesperson said that at least 190 people were killed in the attacks. Gaza health official Moawiya Hassanain said earlier that at least 200 people were injured. The death toll rose steadily throughout the day.
Defense Minister Ehud Barak said in a press conference that the IAF had succeeded in eliminating senior Hamas commanders during the offensive. According to witnesses, among the dead was Hamas police chief Maj.-Gen. Tawfik Jaber. [Any word about Haniyeh or Zahar? Or are they still in hiding? CiJ]
Despite the massive casualties, Hamas remained defiant, vowing revenge and calling on all other Palestinian factions to join in the fight.
"Today we are stronger then we've ever been," one spokesperson for the group said at a press conference. "We won't raise the white flag, we won't give anything up, we won't retreat."
"We call on the Arab states in the region to take a stance against this massacre and not to be satisfied with just condemnations," he continued. [I would not bet on a single Arab country sending a single soldier to fight in Gaza. CiJ]
Minutes after the first wave of air strikes hit areas in the southern Gaza Strip, Palestinians reported a second wave which targeted installations in the center and the north of the Strip. Channel 2 reported that 60 planes were involved in the attack, and nearly 100 targets were hit.
Hamas's Interior Ministry said that all security compounds in Gaza were destroyed.

Sorry, but I doubt the Arab carried in that video was really killed. Yet again there is no blood on the alleged dead, no visible wounds, no torn flesh, no torn limbs, not even torn clothes.
There may have been dead and wounded in the Israeli attack, but those videos are unlikely to be showing the real casualties. More Pllywood?

The Israels would not be bombing if the Gazens choice of leaders didn't keep begging for it with there rockets being launched into Israel for years. The Arabs of the world arenot generous to send relief or $ to help the hungry fellow man. The USA has been the most generous with aid & food to the Gazens for Many, Many, Many, many years. The Gazens have been ungrateful & they elected a terrorist group to lead & govern them. The USA tried to help but Scumbag Arafat could not ever be satisfied. Yea he was a big liar too. The Gazens should be less lazy and hunt down and put in jail the criminals that keep launching rockets into Israel. No country would have tolorated more rocket attacks then Israel has.
