'Close your eyes for peace'

Israel's first astronaut came up with another quotable quote on Monday that ought to make it into Shimon says (Hat Tip: Red Tulips).
Speaking at the annual General Assembly of the United Jewish Committees, he said that "making peace is a little bit like marriage [and] you have to close your eyes and accept what is possible to accept." His audience laughed and applauded.
Would any of you marry someone who goes around telling everyone else that they want to kill you?

If - God forbid - Livni (pictured above with Peres) is elected, will she close her eyes too? (Answer - yes. In fact, she has already).

More like close your eyes and hold your nose.

Those who close their eyes will never see the truth and they will never behold G-d. I think that is in the Prophets. May G-d spare us all from them!

That way they don't need a blindfold when they execute him.

I also saw that rediculous bit of wisdom from the man who made war more convenient, by bringing it home=terrorism.
