I just realized I blew that one. Richard Corey (spelled differently too) was done by Simon and Garfunkel and not by the Beatles. Amazing it was up this long and no one got it. Here's the original tune for comparison. Let's go to the videotape.

You are not completely wrong; Paul McCartney's Wings has played Richard Cory in concerts, although Paul wasn't the singer.
