Lebanese President threatens to take Shaba Farms by force if 'diplomacy' 'fails'

Lebanese President Michael Suleiman, the darling of the Western media since his election broke the 18-month logjam imposed by Hezbullah, said today that Lebanon's paving of a road that comes to within 300 meters of the international border is a prelude to taking Shaba Farms by force if 'diplomacy fails.'
Suleiman was speaking at a press conference after meeting Syrian President Bashar Assad on the sidelines of the Mediterranean conference in Paris. The Lebanese president stressed, however, that the military option was the last resort.

Assad said Lebanon had an important role to play in the Middle East peace process and that any progress in future Israel-Lebanon negotiations would be made in coordination with Syria.

Meanwhile, in what is being interpreted in Israel as a declaration of ownership, the Lebanese Armed Forces (LAF) has built a road and set up a military position in the Shaba Farms/ Mount Dov area for the first time since Israel's withdrawal from that part of Lebanon in 2000.
If Suleiman does that, no one will be able to accuse Israel of attacking Lebanon in response to its being attacked by Hezbullah. On the other hand, it's yet another proof of the extent to which Hezbullah now controls Lebanon.

the arab/islamic world is courting it's own end...

I will not cry when they do succeed in destroying their lands to become sudan/gaza like

I will however, not lift a finger, and will encourage others NOT to lift a finger for any food, medicine or aid of any kind...

I will advocate natural selection for the peoples of mohammed.

After 3000 years of this shit it's time to allow the bastard offspring of Abraham to snuff it'sself out

The Muslim world perceives Israel as weak (thank you Olmert), but the IDF has gone into intensive training since the 2006 debacle and the Muslims will have a very rude awakening.

If Lebanon starts something, the bombing of Beirut in 2006 will be nothing compared to what will happen to the city.

let's be real...

israel set southern lebanon back 40 years in 2006 and tried NOT to kill people...

hezbollah and it's 10,000 rockets killed less than one 15 year old retarded palestinian with a bomb belt.

the best way to win over the arabs is to allow the to have enough power to think they run a state and army,

these are targets that can be bombed....
