Israel displays new spy plane

On Thursday, Israel publicly displayed a new spy plane, the Eitam (pictured), which is expected to play a major role in any attack on Iran. Although the plane's display was widely regarded as a response to Iran's missile tests by the foreign media, Israel Television reported tonight that the reason the plane was displayed today was because it is going to be shown in an air salon in England next week.

State-owned Israel Aircraft Industries says that the plane is equipped with 'sophisticated intelligence-gathering capabilities. According to a FoxNews report, the first Eitam was delivered to the IAF in February 2007.
