Ethnic cleansing of Christians in Gaza picks up steam

On Saturday, May 31, terrorists attacked the guards at the Al Manara school in Gaza, stole a vehicle belonging to the Baptist Holy Book Society, which operates the school, and threatened the society's director. This is just the latest in a series of attacks on Christians and their institutions (and other 'instruments of western culture') in Gaza.
An Israeli intelligence report determined that there has been an increase in the number of attacks on Christian figures and institutions, as well as those associated with Western values. The attacks are being perpetrated by elements identified with the global jihad and radical Islam. In the past two years, groups associated with Al-Qaeda took responsibility for attacks upon Christians and Christian institutions with the expressly-stated goal of driving Christians out of Gaza.
The article linked above goes on to list five previous instances of terror attacks against Christians in Gaza in 2008 (two of which also happened in May) and five attacks in 2007.

The article makes it sound like the attacks are being carried out by al-Qaeda affiliates and not by Hamas, and that Hamas is complicit simply by looking the other way. But Hamas has been at least as zealous in 'cleansing' Gaza. Hamas has established a 'family safe' computer network that blocks web sites that are not to its liking. It was apparently involved in the murder of a Christian in Gaza last October. And it has forced at least some Christians to convert to Islam.

Gaza is not a hospitable place for Christians. Unfortunately, most of the Christians outside of Gaza don't seem to notice.

Like Clueless Condi, who is more concerned that Gaza's Islamists be well educated than demand the basic humans rights of Gaza's Christians be assured. At least she and the State Department and the Olmert-Barak-Livni govermment have set the right priorities.

And yet who are the vast majority of uninformed and biblically illiterate dhimmi Christian denominations siding with this "action week" June 4-10 led by the World Council of Christians? The Palestinian IslamoChristian thugs to whom the International Church Action for Peace in Palestine are sending emails from around the world to "remind Palestinians cut off from each other and from the outside world that they are not forgotten." They totally forget the Bible Christians (almost all of whom have to worship underground) and only support the Islamo-Christians, those that are tradition based, agree to dhimmitude, elevate Arabic culture over faith and pose no threat to the tyrants.
