McCain: By January 2013 Bin Laden and his lieutenants will be dead or captured
Here's John McCain's solution how to handle Iraq and al-Qaeda. By January 2013, Bin Laden and his lieutenants will - God willing - be captured or dead. Would Obama negotiate with Bin Laden instead?Let's go to the videotape.

interesting pipe dream
Yeah right, McCain's the one who was meeting with Pakistan's Gen. Zia back in the day of burgeoning nuclear program (read "Deception"), then in '85 along with Reps. Rud and Loeffler pushed for $ millions to help the Afghan "freedom fighters," the ones who went on to be Taliban and Al-Qaeda. (Kinda reminds me of how the US is spending millions training and aiding the Fatah fighters.)
Perhaps you haven't heard all the appeasement talk coming from McCain, or or older.
In contrast, Obama's been extremely consistent, no qualms at all about air strikes against Taliban/Al-Qaeda (remember ?.
Oh and do realize that the whole "League of Democracies" thing is basically a logical extension of Condi's Millenium Challenge-transformation diplomacy & James Jones' transformation of using NATO for nation-building approach -- basic premises wrong -- Islamic nations are not Germany, Japan, or S. Korea. And Islam's not communism.
McCain's speech was foolish to the utmost, and is totally unbelievable .
By 2013 Bin Laden will be dead. From his mouth to G-d's ears! May it be so.
Osama would have beeen dead by now if McCain had won in 2000.
Unfortunately with effete appeasers like BHO and Carter, Osama will likely be around for a long time
