Will they be charged with incitement?

The moonbats at Peace Piece-by-Piece Now are plastering Jerusalem, Tel Aviv and Lieberman's home town of Nokdim in Samaria with the poster that appears at the top left of this post. The guy on the left is Yisrael Beiteinu's Avigdor Lieberman and the guy on the right needs no introduction. The bubble at the top reads "Opponents of Annapolis" and the strips at the bottom read "The coalition of opponents to a peace agreement."
Peace Now secretary-general Yariv Oppenheimer said early Monday that Lieberman was strengthening the possibility that Iran will obtain nuclear weapons by opposing the Annapolis summit.

"Whoever makes Annapolis fail is playing into the hands of Ahmadinejad, Hamas and all the extremists." Oppenheimer said. "That's what Lieberman is doing by emptying Annapolis of all its content and ensuring its failure."
That's got to be the most ridiculous statement of the week. I will guarantee that one thing that will not come out of Annapolis is a declaration opposing Iran's acquisition of nuclear weapons unless Olmert plans to have the Dimona reactor destroyed while he is in Annapolis. And if that happens, you will start hearing "the C word" more and more in this country.

Lieberman's spokesman responded by calling the Peace Now campaign "incitement."
"It infuriates me that that the same Peace Now that justifiably protests when there are posters depicting (slain prime minister Yitzhak) Rabin and (President Shimon) Peres in a kafiyeh is now dressing Lieberman as Ahmadinejad," the spokesman said.

The extremists on the left in Peace Now are no different than (Kach activist Baruch) Marzel and extremists on the right"

As the Labor Central Committee was set to meet on Monday, opponents of Labor chairman Ehud Barak said that Annapolis would fail, not because of Lieberman but because of Barak's failure to make his presence felt, which was strengthening Lieberman's influence.
Hey guys - get over it. Annapolis is going to fail (if it happens at all) because the 'Palestinians' have not and will not ever make any 'concessions' that might lead to there being a chance of a deal happening. It's no one's fault except the people who decided that having a conference mugging is a good idea in the first place. Remember what Abba Eban said: The 'Palestinians' never miss an opportunity to miss an opportunity.

YNet reminds us of what happened just a couple of weeks ago when 'right wing activists' put up posters of Shimon Peres wearing a kaffiyeh:
Peace Now are not unique in their use of political personas as means of provoking controversy: Just two weeks ago The National Jewish Front, headed by Baruch Marzel and Itamar Ben-Gvir, plastered posters of president Shimon Peres wearing a kaffiyah, reading "the Arab's president releases terrorists."

Peace Now petitioned Attorney General Menachem Mazuz asking he orders a police investigation be opened against Marzel, Ben-Gvir and the National Jewish Front, citing abuse of the right to free speech.
I am sure that Marzel and Ben-Gvir will now petition Mazuz calling for him to investigate 'Peace Now.' Somehow, I doubt Mazuz will be interested. After all, we know that the left in Israel is never violent or destructive.

The American director of Peace Now gave one of the sermons at Yom Kippur at my university services this year. I was confused at first because she didn't refer to her organization as Piece by Piece Now. She said we should take a more balanced position with regards to Israel; I would have liked to have asked her how suing to get Jews in Hebron kicked out of their homes is a "balanced" position.

B"H

It's important for you (for us, for everyone) to continue to point out examples of the standards we live with on a daily basis.

Jews outside of Israel (and some even inside Israel) still don't get this for some reason.

Hazaq u'Varukh!
