Iran tries to turn the tables

I don't know whether to laugh or cry at this one.

Five Argentine officials have been subpoenaed by a Tehran court to explain why they have been conspiring with terror groups against Iran. One of those who has been summoned is the former head of the Argentine Jewish community according to the IRNA report, which is the only indication that this is about the July 1994 terror bombing of the Jewish Community Center in Buenos Aires, in which Iran has been implicated.
Five former Argentine officials have been subpoenaed to the court for explanations, Tehran Public Prosecution Office said on Wednesday.

Argentine ex-Interior Minister Carlos Corach, judge Juan Jose Galeano, the two prosecutors Eamon Mullen and Jose Barbaccia, former head of Argentine Jewish Community Roben Bracha are those summoned to the court, an IRNA report from Tehran said.

"They have been charged with forging documents and evidence and collaboration with the terrorist groups to lodge file against Iran and consequently action against Iran's national sovereignty."

During the legal proceedings, the Iranian judge established that the Argentine officials have forged documents to make case against Iran's government.

He said that more Argentine officials may be summoned to the court in future.

If the Argentine officials do not show up in the court by the next four days, an international arrest warrant would be issued against them because the people have received Tehran Public Court's subpoenas through diplomatic channels, so it is necessary for them to attend the court to answer questions.
I wonder who they think is going to enforce their 'subpoena.'

Carl, I happened by your site and did not really understand what the Iranians were up to. This post sheds light on why Iran ordered to Argentines. This is an interesting development from the country that denies the Holocaust. Thanks for the post.
