Only in Israel

It's 8:20 on Thursday morning and there is no milk to be found in my entire neighborhood. The cashier at my makolet (small grocery store) explains that Tnuva - the dairy monopolist that charges outrageous prices for its products - just moved their distribution facility and "they haven't made up their routes yet." Unfortunately, in 2007, Tnuva has no competition because it is illegal to compete with them. If there were competition, you can bet that they would take the trouble to work these things out before they move.

Time to get rid of the Bolshiveks!
