Suicide terror attack aimed at Israelis foiled in Sinai
Al-AP is reporting that a 'Palestinian' has been arrested inside a beach resort in El-Arish in the Northern Sinai peninsula, while wearing an explosive belt. The 'Palestinian,' Hamid al-Nador, said that he was targeting Israelis.It is not clear whether the 'Palestinian' planned to target Israelis at the Sinai resort or to cross into Israel.
This sounds very strange to me. From what I recall El-Arish is a sleepy border town and has no beach resorts. I would bet he was planning to cross into Israel.
