Islamofacism Anti-Semitism on the rise in England

Londonistan author Melanie Phillips reports on disturbing activity by Muslims in England.

The Muslim Council of Britain has not said anything about the Iranian denial of the Holocaust, let alone Ahmadinejad’s declared intention to repeat the exercise. Indeed, the MCB has still not even decided whether or not to attend the next commemoration in London of Holocaust Memorial Day, which it boycotted on the grounds that it was biased towards the Jews. Instead, the Sunday Telegraph reports that the MCB’s leader has compared British Muslims to the Jews in Nazi Germany and the British government to Hitler’s regime:

A senior Muslim invoked Hitler’s 1930s Nazi regime while attacking the Government over its treatment of British Muslims.Muhammed Abdul Bari accused ministers of stigmatising Britain’s Islamic community and fuelling xenophobia.Mr Bari, the head of the Muslim Council of Britain, criticised the Government for ‘unfairly targeting’ Muslims, and said that it was undermining their status as ‘equal citizens’. He warned that blaming extremism on ‘a small, largely deprived community’ leads to a ‘deterioration of community cohesion and fuels xenophobia’. In a presentation to MPs, Mr Bari went so far as to ask: ‘What is the degree of xenophobia that tipped Germany in the 1930s towards a murderous ethnic and cultural racism?’

Such brazen —indeed, ludicrous and disgusting — inversion of reality is put into even sharper focus by another story pointedly positioned by the Telegraph in the very next column:

Jewish people are four times more likely to be attacked because of their religion than Muslims, according to figures compiled by the police. One in 400 Jews compared to one in 1,700 Muslims are likely to be victims of ‘faith hate’ attacks every year. The figure is based on data collected over three months in police areas accounting for half the Muslim and Jewish populations of England and Wales. The crimes range from assault and verbal abuse to criminal damage at places of worship.

… Rabbi Alex Chapper, 33, was the victim of a ‘faith-hate’ crime in July last year. He was returning from a synagogue in Ilford, Essex, with three Jewish friends after conducting a service. All were wearing skull caps. Seven Asian teenagers followed them down the road shouting ‘Yehudi’, which means Jew in Arabic. One of them shouted, ‘We are Pakistani, you are Jewish. We are going to kill you’, before punching Rabbi Chapper in the face and hitting one of his friends over the head with a bottle.

Yes, there is a small community in Britain which is suffering greatly from a ‘deterioration of ommunity cohesion and…xenophobia’, a plight which does indeed draw unsettling comparisons with the 1930s. Mr Bari just got the name wrong. Strange, that.

Remember the Los Angeles Times article I blogged ten days ago: Islam gets concessions; infidels get conquered. This proves it again. The West is so dhimmified it doesn't understand what it's doing.
