'Palestinians' claim to have fired missile at Jewish town in Samaria

YNet is reporting this morning that the Salah al-Din brigades, the 'military wing' of the Popular Resistance Committees (those nice people who kidnapped IDF Corporal Gilad Shalit last summer), claimed that they fired a short-range missile Wednesday morning towards the Jewish town of Migdalim near Shchem in Samaria. The IDF denied the report.
The statement released by the organization says that at about 4:00 a.m. Wednesday morning, a cell of the organization fired a short range Nasser-1 rocket towards Migdalim.

"The cell of the Shahid Abu Yosef al-Koka has successfully fired a rocket at Migdalim, which is stealing the lands of Nablus. The rocket hit the settlement and marks the beginning of the Islamic and Palestinian wave of wrath against the Zionist enemy for its removal from our occupied land," the statement said.

The organization called on Israel to "not hide and deny its defeat. We give this operation as a gift to the pure souls of the martyrs, the wounded, and the prisoners. This is a first success on the way to the destruction of the Zionists by the resistance rockets, until they leave their homes and until we avenge every last drop of blood spilled over our beloved homeland."

The statement ended with a call for "Jihad until victory or until death as martyrs."
Despite the IDF denial, I am inclined to believe the report. If you follow the links below, you will see that this is not the first time that the 'Palestinians' have attempted to fire missiles in Samaria, and that the IDF itself said in September that it expects that the 'Palestinians' will carry out rocket strikes on the portions of Israel that are within the green line during 2007. How soon they forget cover up. And to answer your question, no, of course nothing has been done about this.
