No gay parade tomorrow

The Jerusalem Post's Israel Alert Service (no link yet) has just reported that there will be no 'gay pride' parade in Jerusalem tomorrow:
Following deliberations within the haredi community concerning a compromise proposal offered by the gay and lesbian community on Thursday, it was decided that the gay parade will not take place in its original format.

Pending a final agreement and logistical arrangements, the gay pride event will no longer consist of a march through Jerusalem's streets, rather a closed "happening" at the stadium at Hebrew University's Givat Ram campus.
Maybe this means that traffic will be okay tomorrow except around Givat Ram? (This means - since the government offices are all closed tomorrow - that the only thing affected would be the museums and traffic in the area).

Note - this is the third time that a cataclysmic event has resulted in the police being unable to secure a 'gay pride' parade. In the summer of 2005, it was the expulsion of the Jews from Gaza. In the summer of 2006, it was the War in Lebanon. This time, it was yesterday's incident in Beit Hanoun. God willing, the price this time is much less for us than the previous two times. But why doesn't anyone in power seem to get the apparent hint in all this?

part of freedom should be the responsiblity not to incite.

If you wish to be gay, jewish, christian, arab or whatever to TRY to upset people by picking parade routes to incite is uncivil

no shouting in the fire house...

if some areas are more "liberal" or "conservative" one should not seek to upset and confront as policy.

it's wierd that u bring too many topics about the Arabs terrorists and the Isreali Angels while you did not mention anything about the Israeli Attack on Bait Hanoun!!!
it's really wierd when Israel attacks any palestnian town or city , the Media don't move at all , but when Hamas or Hezbullah or whatever attacks Isael the whole world goes upside down and Arabs becomes the Bad people..
i am not against Palestine or Iseal , and i am not against Jewish or Muslims or Arabs but i am against such a horrible attacks like the Bait Hanooun , or Qana or any Attack against innocent people even if they were iSREALI , SO YOU AGREE WITH ME OR ARABS Deserves to be killed while isreali not..
sorry for my bad english , i often read ur blog , i am not really with it's idea's or it's posts but i respect other people's point of view...

1st what proof is it that it was an israeli shell?

2nd if it was an israeli shell one must wonder legally why was israeli shelling? if the answer was to RESPOND to kassams, the according to the geneva convention the palestinians are at fault.

the crime to use civilians as shields is the crime
