Israel backs down yet again
Remember how Prime Minister Olmert insisted that no UNIFIL troops would be accepted from countries that do not recognize Israel's 'right to exist' (whatever that means)? Have any of you heard that Malaysia recognized Israel's 'right to exist'? I haven't. But guess what:"Malaysia has informed the world body of its acceptance of a place in the UN Interim Force in Lebanon," Deputy Prime Minister Najib Razak was quoted as saying by the national news agency, Bernama.

"Our personnel should be leaving within one month of the UN invitation," the Sunday Star newspaper quoted Najib, who is also defense minister, as saying.
