Germany claims IAF fired on one of its ships
The Jerusalem Post's Israel Alert service is reporting that Germany claimed on Wednesday that IAF planes flew over a German missile ship that was patrolling off the Lebanese coast and fired a number of shots at the ship.
There is no information on when the incident supposedly occurred.
The IDF is investigating the report.
Update 12:30 AM
The IAF is denying that it fired on the ship but admits that it scrambled planes in the area Tuesday morning due to an unauthorized helicopter in the area that did not identify itself in accordance with standard operating procedures.
