When state inquiry commissions come easy

It's kind of ironic to see Uri Dan attacking the Olmert government in Friday's JPost for trying to duck a state commission of inquiry. Don't get me wrong - I agree with every word of the attack. But Dan is one of the last people the last person who has the right to be attacking the government. You see, if you search through Uri Dan's articles since Ariel Sharon became Prime Minister in 2001 (and before then as well, but before that he usually didn't have to defend the indefensible), you will see that Uri Dan is the number one shill for Ariel Sharon in the State of Israel. In Uri Dan's mind, Ariel Sharon can do no wrong. Even when Ariel Sharon endangers Israeli security by gifting a Judenrein Gaza Strip to the 'Palestinians.'

Ehud Olmert was Ariel Sharon's sycophantic protege. Ariel Sharon installed Ehud Olmert as his successor and as the 'leader' of the State of Israel. Uri Dan has been polishing Ariel Sharon's apples (I'm being kind - this is a family blog) for years. Uri Dan should keep his mouth shut.
