Israel to declare war tonight?
One of my sources, Harvey in Efrat, claims to have it from 'reliable sources' that Israel is going to declare war tonight. Here's what Harvey is telling me (for the record, I have known Harvey for 35 years - we were roommates at a youth group convention in 1971, and his sources are generally from within the IDF and are usually reliable):RUMORS FLYING THAT EHUD OLMERT WILL BE DECLARING WAR TONIGHT (2YEARS TOO LATE)?Please note that 'officially' we have only been told that six soldiers and five civilians were wounded in the north this morning. The IDF waits to give official notice of deaths until it can notify families and release names.
3 DEAD IDF SOLDIERS IN THE NORTH, 2 IDF SOLDIERS KIDNAPPED, TRIPLE PRONGED ATTACK, KATYUSHA, TERRORISTS ON THE GROUND SHOOTING FREELY AT IDF OUTPOST, AND THEN CAPTURING 2 IDF SOLDIERS.
HEAVY FIGHTING GOING ON NOW..IAF KNOCKED OUT BRIDGES THROUGHOUT SOUTHERN LEBANON, IDF NAVY SHELLING BEIRUT SUBURBS,
IN GAZA, MOHAMMED DEIF, LEADER OF HAMAS, LOST OTHER LEG AND ARM, NOT DEAD YET FROM LAST NIGHT'S IAF AERIAL BOMBING ON A NON EMPTY BUILDING (RABBIS SAID ''SHEHACHAYINU" [the blessing one says on happy occasions. CiJ])

Declare war on precisely whom?
If I may speak like the proverbial Dutch Uncle, who'd always blurt out what others were thinking but were too well-bred to say, you Israelis got a choice between submitting to another holocaust or conducting one.
It's a sad old world we live in; where, sometimes, very good people have to do very wicked deeds.
Hezbolah militia supported by the largest voting block in the Lebanese Parliament invaded Israel, killed at least three soldiers and captured two. Isn't it obvious who they should declare war on?
Go get 'em boys. The mincing is over. The Iranians and Damascus put 'em up to this, and now its time to take that chess piece off the board! I think that the USG will back you up this time, as we have a huge interest in taking Iranian chesspieces off the board. Besides, there's this huge field army we've got in Iraq....

Olmert is a wimp! He can't declare war....just bomb them without calling it a "war".
Let him get some balls, and call it a war and head on over to Syria and rain HELL ON THEM.
You know, I sit here thinking about the American citizens that have been executed without any severe reprisals by our government and then I see Israel jumping into war over only 3, I become saddened by the way my country has cheapened life. WAY TO GO ISRAEL!!!

Israeli tanks have moved into Lebanon this morning. Reports are that Iranian soldiers have moved into southern Lebanon. If true, this is not good and the entire battle in the war on terror has just stepped up a notch. Also reporting China is supplying Iran, who in turn is supplying Hezbollah. Israel needs to wipe these folks out once and for all. Not the good Lebanese people, but Hezbollah.
