IDF troops move into Mughazi 'refugee camp'
The IDF has confirmed that its troops are operating in the Mughazi 'refugee camp' in the Gaza Strip.The camp, which has 22,000 residents, is near the 'security fence' between Gaza and Israel, and across from the Palestinian town of Deir al-Balah. The IDF operated in the region late last week before withdrawing.
Several hours of tank movements on the Israeli side and exchanges of fire between soldiers and Palestinian terrorists preceded the operation. No casualties were reported.
The IDF has not yet disclosed the operation's goals.
