IDF re-enters northern Gaza Strip

The IDF has re-entered the northern Gaza Strip this morning, particularly the area in and around Beit Hanoun that has been used as a launch pad for Kassam rockets.

Al-AP is reporting that three 'Palestinians' were killed and eleven were wounded in the IDF action. The IDF also said that it had fired a missile at a (presumably empty) Hamas office in Northern Gaza.

Armed 'Palestinians' exchanged fire with IDF forces, and 'operatives' said they set off a land mine next to an IDF bulldozer building embankments near the residential areas of the town. Hamas said its cells activated bombs against several bulldozers and tanks.

The IDF has not commented on Hamas' claims. Let's just say that Hamas doesn't have the best record for honesty.
