30 Years since Entebbe

As the government tries to negotiate the release of kidnapped Israeli soldier Gilad Shalit, the JPost looks back to the days when 'negotiations' with terrorists were just a way to buy time until the a real rescue mission could be undertaken. The Post's magazine this weekend has a lengthy look back at the Entebbe rescue mission, which took place thirty years ago this week. It was one of those rare events in life where you always remember where you were when you heard about it.
