Obama getting ready to throw J Street under the bus?

President Obama's close friend, Columbia University Professor Rashid Khalidi, has criticized J Street for not being radical enough.
Columbia University professor Rashid Khalidi, well-known for his anti-Israel rhetoric, slammed J Street, an organization which claims to be pro-Israel, for failing to adequately oppose Israel's military actions in Gaza during Operation Protective Edge.
Speaking at the "Open Hillel" conference, Khalidi said that J Street "needs more radical critique...if it wants real change,"Jeremy Pressman wrote on Twitter. One Jewish Voice for Peace activist noted that Khalidi stated to J Street that "if u [sic] call Israel's attacks on Gaza 'self defense' you can't be agents of change." Khalidi's remarks were met with strong applause.
...
According to one attendee, J Street U members in attendance huddled together at the conclusion of the speech, were "visibly upset" and could be overheard reassuring each other not to worry about Khalidi's demands.
Is Obama getting ready to throw J Street under the bus?

The die-hard leftists understand that Khalidi will not be happy until leftist Jews start killing their fellow Jews with their own hands. The post conference huddle reported here is symptomatic of self conscious leftists who (never mind their mushy ideas how to get there) just want peace. We think of them as fools, I suppose they are but their idea of peace is certainly not genocide. Exposed to the base intentions of the Khalidis of the world, their world-view implodes and they go looking for new answers. They were under the mistaken impression that talking will solve things.

Hmm... is it just me, or has J-street actually moderated its tone in this conflict as compared to cast lead?

These Jewish kapos never believe their buddies will turn on them. The Jewish Voice for Peace morons may be even more vile than J Street, but the antisemites will run out of use for them too, eventually.
